Using the OMG Chrome extension

Use the procedures below to either send a link to a candidate or view a candidate's assessment results.

Using any Applicant Tracking System

Using an optimized Applicant Tracking System

Highlight the candidate's email address on the webpage.  You will do this by positioning your mouse cursor at the beginning of the email address, clicking and holding the left mouse button while you drag across the email address, then releasing the left mouse button.  Then, right-click on the text you have highlighted, and choose "OMG" from the menu that pops up.

Alternatively, if the webpage has a clickable link to the candidate's email address (e.g. a link that would open a new message to the candidate in your default mail program if you clicked it), you do not need to highlight it, and can instead simply right-click on the link and choose "OMG" from the menu that pops up.

Please note that you will need to use an optimized ATS and activate Advanced Features to use this streamlined method.

Once Advanced Features are activated, you can simply click the OMG icon to the right of the address bar, and we will automatically extract the candidate's email address.

If you are shown a page prompting for an email address, it means we were unable to automatically extract an email address.  Please be sure that you are viewing the candidate detail page in your ATS that shows the candidate's email address.

Sending a candidate a link to the questionnaire

If you have not yet assessed this candidate, a window will appear allowing you to send a link to the candidate.  This link will come from Objective Management Group, and you can see what the email looks like by clicking the "Preview" button.  If you would like to send the link from your own email account, click the "Create Only" button, then copy and paste the link into an email to the candidate.

Viewing assessment results

If you have already assessed this candidate, a window will appear showing his/her results.  You can click the "PDF" button to see the full results document.

Multiple results

If there are multiple results for an email address, you will be shown a list of the matching assessments.

Using the menu

Clicking your initials in the top-right corner of the window will open the main menu.  From this menu, you can access the Getting Started Guide, Support, or Logout.

Extension icons

When the extension recognizes a candidate who has already been sent a link, the icon to the right of the address bar will automatically change and show one of these items:

  • "Y" with a green background - The candidate has been assessed and was Recommended
  • "W" with a yellow background - The candidate has been assessed and was Worthy of Consideration
  • "N" with a red background - The candidate has been assessed and was not recommended
  • "MUL" with a gray background - There are multiple results for this candidate
  • A percentage, e.g. "25%" with a gray background - The candidate is in the process of completing the questionnaire
